If there's no processor connection, the interface is never shown at all. So I created a dummy "first" page that is never seen by the user (unless they use the "preview" function in the app setup page). The problem can be seen when the app wants to start on a certain page, and the program also tells it to go to that same page. If I changed which page was marked "first,' it would work since the it could go to that page momentarily (though not visibly) and then flip to the actual start page based on its join being held high. If I used another interface to start the system (so none of the interfaces were driven to the "first" page anymore), then the app would load its interface. But in this case, it revealed a bug in the Crestron App (for SmartGraphics). Having the page joins held high can be helpful in most cases. I do all my page flipping with init/equate combos for a variety of reasons. If the page join for your start page is currently held high, the app will not load the interface. The reason it worked after I replaced my "first" page was because I forgot to put a join number on the new page.
